I installed Ver 4.34a as administrator in Win7 x64 and I am unable to run any exe. I was getting MFC140.dll missing errors so I did a windows update, reinstalled 4.34a as administrator and now I get this error"

"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)." BTW... V4.33 worked fine.

V4.34a is missing some DLLs if VS2015 including MFC hasn't been installed.

Please try copying the two DLLs here:
http://dynomotion.com/Software/DLL/

to your c:\KMotion434a\KMotion\Release directory to see if it resolves the problem

is that what we need?

Hi Carl,

Here is a link to the Microsoft Free Visual Studio 2015 Community:

When installing make sure options for C++ and MFC are enabled.

All the projects in KMotion Versions 4.34a and later have been updated and should work out-of-the-box with VS2015.

To build all the libraries open \BuildAllLibs.sln
To Build all the examples open \PC VC Examples\BuildExamples\BuildExamples.sln

But if you don't plan on changing any PC source code just copy in the two DLLs from my previous post.

I just installed the V4.34a out of curiosity. Trying to run KMotionCNC on win32XP gives error saying not valid win32 executable.

Has there been a fundamental change away from win32/XP?

It should work with Windows XP SP3. I don't currently have a system to test. The new code built with VS2015 is dependent on Microsoft's Universal C Run Time library that is now part of Windows 10 and maintained by Microsoft. For older OSs it should be added by Windows Update. Is your Windows updated?

Otherwise please search your Windows Directory for: ucrtbase.dll

Or try installing the Run Time Redistributables from Microsoft here:
